Chongli resorts usually open in November and close between March and April. Wanlong opened on 21 October in 2025 on machine-made snow.
Chongli is dry and windy compared with Jilin or Xinjiang, so most terrain relies on snowmaking. Grooming and wind matter more here than fresh snowfall.
